Opus-Opus Dance Theatre and Community Services Inc. is the umbrella organization that supports the Opus Dance Theatre Company and the Opus Arts In Education ARISE programs (A Revolution In Student Education). The ODT’s mission is to integrate social values and celebrate cultural diversity through the artistic expression of the performing arts, by providing dance performances, professional development and educational and community programs for all people. ODT’s company of directors, teachers, choreographers, musicians, and technicians embody an active dynamic of energy and purpose, committed to spirit, tradition, and innovation in performance. By including all cultures, it is through this combination of elements that the ODT remains a pivotal force in the preservation of its great ethnic tradition. Translating these traditions into tools of academic and artistic enrichment and enlightenment are our most formidable goals of education.
